Kilkea Castle is located about a 45 minute - 1 hour drive from Dublin Airport (DUB). Aer Lingus operates multiple daily nonstop flights from most major US cities to Dublin, though you may also find some United, American, and Delta flights as well. Iceland Air also tends to have flights available with a single connection in Reykjavík (KEF).

Our Suggestion: If you will be returning to the US on the Sunday after the wedding, we highly recommend booking the later afternoon/early evening flight options. Customs & Immigration are completed in Dublin prior to boarding (which is great once you land back in the US!) but does require getting to the airport at least 2-3 hours in advance. Given the commute from Kilkea Castle to the airport, late afternoon/early evening flights will likely give you the most relaxed travel experience!

There are four ways we recommend getting from Dublin Airport (DUB) to Kilkea Castle. The drive is about 45 minutes - 1 hour.

1. Car Transfer: This is our recommended way to get from the airport (or city center) to the venue. A few companies we recommend:

2. Rental Car: Dublin Airport has all major rental companies. Note to ask for / specify an automatic (if not comfortable driving a manual as this is the default). There is free parking on-site at Kilkea.

4. Taxi: We recommend using the Freenow app to order a taxi from your phone. You can also just flag a taxi the old-fashioned way.

Please note that while Uber and Taxi may be an option, if you are landing at odd hours, it may be more challenging to get a driver who will accept a ride out to Kilkea. Taxis/Ubers are generally recommended for city to airport travel or shorter (~20 min or less) journeys. For guaranteed availability, booking a car transfer in advance would be the way to go!
